Some start their journey of building a better world at a very young age. Sarah is one of those rare individuals. Her activism began at the age of fifteen, when she volunteered at an orphanage in India. Upon returning to the US, she raised money for the orphanage by giving talks to local organizations. She hasn’t slowed down since.

Many years ago, Sarah founded Seeds of Exchange, a non-profit dedicated to bringing community together to “Make a Mighty Difference in the World.”

“We do what we do because we believe that we belong to each other and that each and every person matters. We passionately work to make an indelible dent in global human rights and in one another’s day-to-day lives. We connect individuals, non-profits, government agencies, or businesses, in order to increase the ability of each to make a unique and significant impact. We are making a difference locally and globally, together, through building community, storytelling, and philanthropy.”  (From Seeds’ website)

Sarah is an author, an activist, a philanthropist, and a passionate leader who gathers like-minded souls around the world to work together to support human rights causes.

In 2022, her book, “No Longer Untouchable: A Story of Human Trafficking, Heroism, and Hope” was released. The book details the lives of four young Nepali women who were kidnapped and held in a brothel in India, forced to become sex workers. Miraculously, they were all rescued (the average is 1%) and asked Sarah to share their story with the world. This year. a documentary on their story and their journey to wholeness will be released, with Nepal’s female president supporting these formerly “untouchable” young women.
