ABOUT DEBORAH
Deborah Rohan is the creator & host of How We Change The World, a video & audio podcast launched in January 2023.
The author of books, articles, and hundreds of expert witness reports helping refugees gain asylum, Deborah’s personal and professional life has followed a path of raising awareness about the most pressing global challenges we face today.
Deborah spent ten years as a diversity and conflict resolution trainer, followed by ten years as a Program Manager and Executive Director of a Middle East Center at the University of Denver, where she brought Middle East leaders, academics, students, and the community together in the pursuit of active listening and dialogue. That experience inspired her to co-found and direct Meet the Middle East, a non-profit organization that takes American students and adults to the heart of the Middle East to help them experience first-hand the humanity, life situation, culture, and world views of all who live there.
Deborah is the author of three books, The Olive Grove: A Palestinian Story, One Person Acted and Everything Changed, and The Ground Beneath Their Feet (pending publication.)
Deborah lives, works and podcasts from Denver, Colorado, and is available to travel for speaking engagements. Contact Deborah for more info.
